Hi my little Leatherpagers. Did you miss me? What do you mean you’ve only written one post how could I possibly miss you? Okay. I admit I’ve been neglecting you. There are no excuses, but I will say that I’ve been having bandwidth issues (both literal and figurative).

I promise I’ll pay more attention to you from now on. I do have some great ideas for a few articles, but in the meantime, let me give you some lesbian bondage…

So today I sold a “blow me” and a “cocksucker” t-shirt to a guy and his note in the “comment” field was….

“PERFECT MATCH”
boy in cocksucker – daddy in blow me.

I love it when a plan comes together… even when it was never intended to be that way.

a perfect pairing

It’s friday, it is the eve of a super full moon, and the day before cinco de mayo.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL OUT THERE THIS WEEKEND.

Hello Leatherpagers. I’m very excited that Leland asked (finally relented to my begging) me to participate here. It’s a wonderful opportunity and actually solves a problem I’ve been dealing with. You see I have my own blog (why yes, thank you of course you can check it out here), but I realize that not everyone who reads it necessarily wants to hear about my sex life (I’m looking at you, Aunt Jody). So here I can explore some of the more randy aspects of my Randy life.

So, here is the reality. I make shirts. I make shirts with goofy sayings on them. I make shirts that make people laugh. But… and there is always a but… a few years ago after posting my “status” on facebook on World AIDS Day I realized that I had no shirts that talked about HIV or living with HIV or being HIV positive and honestly thought it was just time. So, here ya go. Let me say… this shirt isn’t for everybody. You seriously have to be “ready” to wear it. I can’t think of a time someone hasn’t made a comment, good and bad, whenever I wear it.

I can honestly say I am by no means the sharpest tool in the shed, the brightest candle, the one you go to when you need to know how to spell something and lord knows I probably would fail on the first question on “are you smarter than a fifth grader”… but, oh shit, another but…. I do know a few things about life. As a community we have lived under the rock of discrimination for so long that is has almost become the norm. Well…. not for me. I live proudly as an HIV positive man, and as a gay man, and as a kinky fucker at times…. but all and all I just live without the shame that can sometimes be associated with HIV.  I know this isn’t the case for everybody. I know that not every person who has HIV is open about it. I know that it can be a scary thing… but…. damn it another one… if just wearing this shirt makes it easier for one person who is scared or lost or afraid… or whatever. I guess it has served its purpose.

Next time I think I will talk about one of my goofy shirts… sorry if this was a little “heavy”.

that’s all for now….  Mitch – the bearded guy of thebeardedguy.com

If you want to help– you are in luck. Our beloved Race Bannon has set up a site where you can donate to help the barbers effected by the fire at Joe’s Barbershop.

Any small amount helps! Here’s an idea: donate what you would have paid for a haircut this week if they hadn’t burned down!

Please help spread the word so that people who want to help are able to.
